"Forked River Roadside Shrine, New Jersey’ is about this accident, in which the driver, who was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs (if I remember correctly), dies, while the other passengers are badly hurt, his mother is upset that ‘The Jaws of Life’ have extracted him last, and too late, from the wreck of the car

The Jesters is another short story, the next in fact, and it made me think of our own gated community, in the fictional place, The Jesters would be the neighbors, and they have replicas in real life, where we live there are some obnoxious figures, who are so vile as to kick the ball at night, at three in the morning, but then there are worse things

Betrayal is the tale that comes after The Jesters, and we have this peculiar young man, who has graduated, after his family had spent more than $ 200,000 for his education, and now he works as an intern, an unpaid volunteer, in the Zoo, where he has been assigned to the bonobo section, where he thrives
