This was made into a comedy, although it is no laughing matter to envisage an atomic apocalypse, or wait, I am wrong, it is the only way, if one is to keep sane, in a world where this is a clear possibility, now that we have the Orange Felon so close to the red button, he is still the favorite, even if he lost the debate the other day…

Professor Sonja Lyubomirsky details much more in her oeuvre, and we have to be positive, laugh at the possible Armageddon, but still be aware of the dangers – the US has elections in less than two months, and the race is tied they say, only the Orange Clown has more chances, Hilary Clinton was well ahead in 2016

 

And she lost – though she would have made a much better leader – for that matter, an ape would have made it – so we have members of that awful cult refusing to answer pollsters (many of them) and then they do not admit their preference, ergo the dead heat could translate into more morons actually pushing for the Orange Strangelove to become (again!) the top man in the free world, come next January, God forbid!

In Dr Strangelove we have a rogue, crazy general going off on his own, deciding to attack the Soviet Union (it was still in place decades ago, but we could easily see Putin’s Russia playing that same role) and we have the reverse scenario here, we could have a puppet in the White House, doing the tyrant’s game and losing

 

Orange Strangelove is an admirer of Putin, Erdogan and other dictators, he wants to be one himself, hence he looks with envy, awe, and tries to copy those fellows, who know that he is weak, while pretending to be such a strong man, because whenever he hears adulatory messages, he melts, and becomes a victim

Maybe you remember that terrible moment in Helsinki (one of so many, alas) when the fool was asked about Russia’s interference in the American elections, and the American president, instead of trusting his agencies, his own team, he says ‘Putin said he had nothing do to with it, and I don’t see why I should not believe him

 

While campaigning in 2016, this pathetic crook kept screaming at his rallies ‘lock her up’, and asking Russia to find the emails, in other words, already showing what his stand would be, an unprecedented move, but then all this mad man has done (well, almost all) has been against his own country, doing the job of the foes

Thus, I see perfect parallels between the narrative of Dr. Strangelove aka Red Alert, and what could be waiting for us, after November 4, based on what has happened, in fiction, the US and their enemy may just blow the world up, between them, in reality, if we have the wrong person in the White House, we could see another doomsday machine

 

 Think of the fact that this Orange Felon has tried to steal the elections, and make himself a sport of despot, or king, in the recent debate with Kamala Harris – and she won this hands down, but the hoi polloi may just opt for the idiot, again – he claimed again that he had won, and then he had noting to do with the rebellion

As John Stewart explained it, this is the type of fellow that would jump first in the emergency boats, if the ship sinks, and would insist he knew nothing, he has no responsibility, and elsewhere in the free world, this would be disqualifying, but not in the US, not anymore, which is so contemptible and shameful

 

When he went out of the highest office – first, let us say he was only the second to refuse to participate in the inauguration of his successor – he took boxes of the most secret documents, put them in the bathroom of his kitsch hotel in Florida, in the ballroom, where anybody could get to them, such a disgrace and a felony

Yet, he has named three supreme judges that would go along with almost anything he does, they gave him immunity, and instead of rotting in some cell, he is, repeating the terrible danger, the favorite to win the most important position, such a danger to humanity, especially in some parts of the world, such as our region

 

He spoke about the plans to invade Iran to unknown entities, then brought in casual conversation…the nuclear submarines, as in the Holiest of the Hollies, at this stage, nuclear powers have the means to annihilate the other, a sort of last deterrent is that you do not know about these submarines, where they are…

I was reading in The Economist about how the British Prime Minister has to choose one of three options, in the first moments of his new job, answering to the possibility that UK was attacked, and he is off with the rest of London and probably a lot of the rest of the UK, so what will he put in the letter with instructions for the nuclear submarine commander”

One possibility is to order him to retaliate, another would have the captain to decide, and the third is to a\void another calamity…in my view, if the US has this mad man at the helm, he would stop the war in Ukraine by selling out to Putin, all of us here would be damned

 There is also the small matter of working for AT&T – this huge company asked me to be its Representative for Romania and Bulgaria, on the Calling Card side, which meant sailing into the Black Sea wo meet the US Navy ships, travelling to Sofia, a lot of activity, using my mother’s two bedrooms flat as office and warehouse, all for the grand total of $250, raised after a lot of persuasion to the staggering $400…with retirement ahead, there are no benefits, nothing…it is a longer story, but if you can help get the mastodont to pay some dues, or have an idea how it can happen, let me know
