This would normally be a story that we find ‘incredible’, only in the world of today what will classify as hard to believe, the notion that hundreds of thousands of Americans have died due to overdose looks like a hard to accept scenario, especially if we add that this happened with drugs prescribed by…doctors

 

It was not something that happened at street corners, in ‘awful neighborhoods’, and many, if not most patients got hooked without knowing, or desiring any of it, since all they wanted was to be relieved from Pain, hence the name of the book and film, which has the wondrous Emily Blunt in the leading role of Liza Drake

Patients with cancer were eventually given fentanyl (the drug has an invented name in the movie) which is now so infamous for being the conduit for the Devil, death and destruction, it alleviated their pain, but to extract profit regardless of suffering, human lives, these companies pushed for the drugs to enter the mass market

 

Pieces of this narrative, the core of it is true, just as some artistic license is introduced, America and other countries have been hit hard by this epidemic, and the market for new drugs is always changing, there are other creations out there, I think I have read in The Economist, and then there is China…

The USA has tried to talk it into eliminating the trade of fentanyl, or whatever substances are used to get those poisons to users, but then they have stopped the discussions, they are of course in a major competition, on all fronts, economic, political, and alas, we may soon see one that is military, war over Taiwan

 

As it is clear by now, from the drugs in the film, we travel to where they come from, and then we turn to my favorite horse, politics, anti-communism, probably the biggest treat for the near future, Trump, ergo, you would be better off stopping here, if you have not done it already, this is not really worth the trouble

The aforementioned The Economist speculates that, with two major conflicts that are anyway expanding, one in Ukraine, then the war in Gaza, which is used by the Iran proxies to push for further casualties in Israel, Hezbollah, Shia militias in Syria, Iraq, the Houthis in Yemen have all launched missiles towards US targets, and/or in Israel

 

China could feel emboldened to attack Taiwan, knowing that the USA are more than challenged by the wars that are raging now, and could say that they may not have this chance again so soon, and rather than wait for more military buildup, they could say let us go ahead now, and jump on Taiwan during this good window

 

Let us get back to Pain Hustlers for a moment and say that for yours truly, it somehow confirms the decline of America, which I hate, this is not a Chinese propaganda piece, with ‘look at the old giant, it is sick and going to the dogs’, I wish the US would be great for a few more centuries, at the very least, if there is still a habitable planet for that long

However, this epidemic, then the other disease, which is political, manifested in the fact that they could well put the outmost, absolute jerk and freak in the White House next year – and after seeing what happened the first time around, it is not as if they do not know and they now try to see what Trump looks like for four years

 

Those people cannot use their minds any more, or not for any serious mental exercises like ‘what about having a leader with some decency, common sense, more intelligent than a monkey, with some restraint, modesty, the list could go on, and you could read ‘Character Strengths’, and see he has none

The opioid epidemic and this political disaster are two very different things, you could argue, and may be right, nevertheless, from here, they are symptoms of the same major trouble, a loss of education, intelligence that makes millions get into drugs, and also get addicted to the ultimate fraudster, crook

The family has been cheating for decades, this has just been established in court, although it had been known for ages, I have seen how the fella would not pay for, well, anything and anybody, creating fake universities, abusing charities, which were just fronts for this Confidence Man http://realini.blogspot.com/2023/09/confidence-man-making-of-donald-trump.html and yet he screams he is the victim

 

What about the wisdom of the crowds, how is this possible, after so much disgusting display of lies, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, taking the secrets of the nation and flaunting them, showing war plans to hoi polloi, one of the recent ‘revelations’ had the ghoul talking nuclear submarines to just anybody

These are the last resort, the holy of the hollies, the ultimate deterrent, if an enemy thinks of destroying the USA with nuclear weapons, they have to think hard about those submarines, which are under the ocean and ready to obliterate the foe…unless of course, those adversaries do not get the info they need to wipe them out from the likes of Trump…
