This motion picture has had an enormous impact on yours truly – I have seen it in the small cinema theater in…Caciulata, a tiny holiday town, near the Carpathians, where Dan Minulescu used to rent a villa, took me and a couple of girls there on weekends, and then on such a short vacation we went to the movies.

You are in control, nothing else matters, there are clear goals, time is relative – you can look up the Einstein quote, which is more or less ‘spend time with a beautiful woman and one hour feels like a minute, put your hand on a hot stove for one minute and it is like an hour…this is relativity for you’- challenges meet expectations, and feedback is constant and instant, you can try and bring this formula into your life

Reading a book, having a rewarding, elevated conversations, watching Forrest Gump could get you there, or near…Forrest Gump is a very enticing character, with his IQ of 75 he seems to prove the recent studies that have shown that Emotional Intelligence (and the social one presumably) are way more important…

 

Some, actually many will dismiss the man and the narrative as preposterous – now the notion comes to me, tempting me to make a parallel between that fellow and…Trump, both rather silly, successful, reaching the top, against, or because they keep saying and doing absurd, inane things, but the parallel is stretched

Indeed, for all the above, the two represent two opposing types, one, Gump is positive, kind, selfless to the point of doing anything for his love, Jenny, dedicated to helping people, talented – I have mentioned his massive EQ, well, for the Orange Buffoon, that is not just zero, it must be negative, on balance

But this ‘president’ has always been like this, the trouble is that seventy million have embraced him, and they are going to do so again, next year, and if we are fair, like I have said, then this means that ‘you get what you wish, be careful what you wish for’, and other such words of sagesse, only we get burned too

He has repeatedly said he will solve the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, and we can believe him on this one, like in most of the crazy, lucubrated nonsense he keeps vomiting…he will give Putin what he wants, that is the Trump solution, for the Russian monster has said ‘the idiot is smart’, and you only need to flatter the shit and then he is all yours, we will go down the drain with Ukraine and the world actually…if this is the progress, the world in 2024, then sorry, but we are not altogether an intelligent species, not the majority anyway
