8 out of 10

Brad Pitt https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2026/07/a-river-runs-through-it-by-norman.html is one of my favorite thespians, he has a leading role (or maybe he is the main character here) in Se7en, which by the way, may be Seven or Se7en, I am not sure, I have seen it both ways, he is detective Mills, who wants to be in this narrative

That is, he asked for this job, though the results are quite awful for him – spoiler alert, though I am not yet sure how much I will divulge, and more importantly, who gives a damn – the monster at the center of this mystery feature is a serial killer, who acts as God, in that he punishes those who indulge in the Seven deadly sins

A Dance to The Music of Time https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2026/04/a-buyers-market-is-second-novel-in.html is a chef d’oeuvre, and the Seven deadly sins appear there, except in this masterpiece, it is a question of tapestry, and then a game is initiated, wherein the guests at this castle, take pictures and laugh at those sins

One documentary about the career of Brad Pitt explains how he started in Thelma and Louise, where he is a handsome stranger, and his looks seemed to have him typecast as the good-looking man, without any interest in his talent, which is impressive, as he has shown over the years, taking on challenging roles and then becoming a producer

He won the Oscar for the latter position, for 12 Years a Slave – I did not pay attention to who produced, until the documentary revealed this interest he has had in promoting excellent films, which would otherwise have trouble in raising the money – eventually, he also won an Academy Award for acting for https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/05/once-upon-timein-hollywood-written-and.html Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Morgan Freman is the glorious phenomenon who has the role of Somerset in Seven, a retiring, pedantic detective, he wants to know the truth, annoying some other men of the law, from the start, one has an assumption, it was the wife, the rest doesn’t concern us, only it does, because the truth is much more complicated

We are dealing with a monster here, and Somerset aka Morgan Freeman https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/12/million-dollar-baby-clint-eastwood.html knows it...since I reached the end of the note, I must mention what happened over the weekend: the Orange Plague has done it again!

Orange Plague https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/01/confidence-man-making-of-donald-trump.html because they have placed a statue at the European Parliament, I think, so, this Caligula has done a deal with Putin, then asked for Zelensky to be removed, because he admires Putin, who is such a fine president, right? What a disgusting plague!

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice written by Larry Tucker and Paul Mazursky, directed by the latter is included on The New York Times’ Best 1,000 Movies Ever Made list, and Variety has published recently its Top 100 Comedies – or else, I have learned about this lately – where this feature has a top spot, as far as I remember it is higher that the 50th spot – speaking of these pages, you have access to my own more than five thousand notes on films from these and other compilations, together with another five thousand reviews on magnum opera from The Greatest Books of All Time and other sites on my blog and You Tube channel https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/09/do-you-have-any-feedback.html you may even subscribe, if you wish

In The Fade aka Auf Dem Nichts, written by Hark Bohm and Fatih Akin

In The Fade aka Auf Dem Nichts, written by Hark Bohm and Fatih Akin In The Fade has won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film, although in this cinephile's opinion, Una Mujer Fantastica- which has won the Oscar in the same category- Nelyubov or The Square would have been better choices. Having said that, Auf Dem Nichts is a very good, significant, remarkable feature, that attracts attention to violence against minorities, in this case the Kurdish community in Germany. It is therefore not one sided, we do not have only Muslim lunatics killing innocent "infidels", but also some extreme Europeans murdering the other side. The problem is that, unacceptable, horrifying and vile as these acts are, it appears that the overwhelming majority of atrocities are committed by zealots acting in the name of Islam- radical and unrepresentative as they are for this supposedly peaceful faith, although there are passages in its holy book that seem to insist on a violent jihad and ultimat...
