American Hustle is indeed a remarkable, most often enjoying film, and if we sometimes tend to think ‘come on, this is not the way it happens’, then we must remember that, as we communicate, as in you may read this (and drop it), and I put some lines in here, the Biggest Orange American Hustle in History is taking place

 

Before I concentrate on that – Orange American Hustler – maybe I say a few things about the movie, which has a fabulous cast, with Christian Bale and Amy Adams leading, supported with acumen by Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper and others, but a rather peculiar, obnoxious director, David O. Russell

 

The latter has been in serious conflict with so many, from George Clooney to Amy Adams, and knowing about the abuses does not make me want to see his work, except of course, in here we have the phenomenal actress and it is worth honoring her effort and make her ordeal somewhat worthwhile, while rejecting Russell

Now, the scheme in the motion picture is one in which corruption is exposed and the rotten apples are exposed, with large doses of comedy, a trap is set up, con artists are at their best, and I could not help but look at what happens now and say that the criminals in fiction are nothing when compared with the real thing

 

And now I move on to the horrific Orange American Hustler who had duped his cohorts, and they voted for him, more than seventy million of them, and now we will all suffer the consequences – technically, this was not a hustle, he has not cheated on them https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/01/confidence-man-making-of-donald-trump.html

They take all this with gumption, and the quote from HL Mencken is so marvelous ‘Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard…’, but maybe they will realize, show a human side and look at what the Chosen one is doing with terror and reject him

 

Every time we think that he has reached bottom, this monster goes deeper, like this week with Ukraine – he has called the hero president of Ukraine a dictator – what is that, what about Putin, oh, this one is just a good guy, after all, he said nice things about the Deal maker – and insisted that Ukraine has started the war…

Alas, there are fools everywhere, and as I keep saying here, in my corner, I meet them downtown, take this one, who is otherwise very educated, erudite, and yet, when the issue of the start of the war came up the other day, he agreed with…The Orange Bastard, even using a metaphor, or was it an allegory, I am not sure

 

We both use the bicycle, and he said ‘if you are sent with the bike into a fence, it must have been your fault also’, and when we protested – by this time, a sort of young ally has entered the sauna – that this wrong, I may just be hit by a car, without doing anything wrong, he just went on, proving that nonsense is the mantra of billions

Granted, I tried some humor - there is also this thing ‘try to be a merit finder, not a fault finder, be a satisfizer, not a maximizer’ – and said that, maybe I am wrong when using the bicycle, because it is madness, especially in this city, when even (or especially) lady drivers just ignore you, and come within a millimeter of your being injured

One was doing just that on Friday, near Kaufland, by coincidence, we stopped at the same shop and I told her about our Close Encounter of The Third Kind, and she asked ‘what?’, because she had no idea, and I tried to explain that this is qed, exactly proving what I say, that she has no idea where she is driving, does not even see, never mind avoid someone on a bike

 

Now for my standard closing of the note with a question, and invitation – maybe you have a good idea on how we could make more than a million dollars with this https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/2025/02/is-this-unique-could-it-make-money.html – as it is, this is a unique technique, which we could promote, sell, open the Oscars show with or something and then make lots of money together, if you have the how, I have the product, I just do not know how to get the befits from it, other than the exercise per se

 

 There is also the small matter of working for AT&T – this huge company asked me to be its Representative for Romania and Bulgaria, on the Calling Card side, which meant sailing into the Black Sea wo meet the US Navy ships, travelling to Sofia, a lot of activity, using my mother’s two bedrooms flat as office and warehouse, all for the grand total of $250, raised after a lot of persuasion to the staggering $400…with retirement ahead, there are no benefits, nothing…it is a longer story, but if you can help get the mastodont to pay some dues, or have an idea how it can happen, let me know
